Notes

American-hybrid seedless grape (Vitis labrusca-derived), bred at Cornell University (Geneva, NY), selected 1952 from Ontario x Russian Seedless. Zones 5-8, hardy to about -15F. Disease resistance is a genuine weak point - UMass Extension specifically flags susceptibility to disease, fruit cracking, and limited winter hardiness. Not on Texas A&M AgriLife's Pierce's Disease-tolerant variety list, and its Cornell breeding program is outside PD-pressure regions, so there's no reason to assume PD tolerance; treat as PD-susceptible. Pierce's Disease is a real, ongoing risk for bunch grapes in North Texas - watch for leafhopper/sharpshooter vectors and consider isolating from wild grapevines.
