- Originated in Santa Cruz, CA by Frank Serpa of Edenvale Nurseries, as an improved selection of the Coolidge variety above (bigger fruit, better quality). Zones 8-9; does best in climates similar to coastal Southern California, though also grown successfully in hot interior valleys. Two of your KML pins for this variety were spelled differently ("Edenvale" and "Evendalevale") - treated as the same plant here.
