Thornless (Rubus 'APF-236T'), marketed under the Bushel and Berry brand. Bred by Peter Boches and Dr. John R. Clark (the same University of Arkansas breeder behind the Prime-Ark series) for Fall Creek Farm & Nursery from a 2007 cross of Arkansas selections A-120T x APF-132T; selected 2009, patented PP 27,032. Zones 4-8, chill requirement 400 hours. Bred more for cold-hardiness and compact size than for heat - at least one nursery recommends afternoon shade in extreme heat and notes the fall primocane crop can be suppressed by high summer temperatures, worth watching in Oak Point's hot summers. No disease-resistance data (orange rust, rosette) found for this specific cultivar.
